Outside of house, looking towards front door. We have a two story home with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We only have one bathtub/shower so we all need to coordinate shower times! We have a family room off the kitchen with fireplace and TV, and a new Home Office off the front entry. Our home is large enough that we can all spread out, but not so big that we get lost! We are just finishing some renovations now, and will add interior photos as rooms are ready! Please excuse our mess while we build our site!

After hosting International and Canadian Homestay Guests for almost 20 years, we are still working on improvements. One improvement we came up with is having a HOMESTAY BOOK. We hope that having this will help make Guests feel more at home a bit sooner, and also provide a place to have some rules/guideslines written down. Please excuse our mess while we build our site!

Everyone is always interested in what SERVICES we provide. Sometimes you may ask for something we have never done before.in that case we will negotiate and see what happens. Below are some of the standard type of SERVICES we either provide 'free' (included in your Homestay Fee), or at an additional fee. Bed, single or double, with bedding. Bedside table with lamp. Study Desk with lamp. Extra blankets if you need them. We will gladly pick you up at the:. Bus Depot in Ladysmith or Nanaimo. We feel our FEES.

Our Homestay Guests have a variety of Accommodation.usually depending on who else is here, but sometimes depending on the time of year also. We have two Guest Rooms, and a Motorhome. Wherever your 'room' is you would have full access to our home (except for bedrooms).Kitchen, Laundry facilities, back yard, Family and Living rooms, etc. All the beds are complete with bedding, and if you are chilly at night, just ask for more covers! We have lots and lots of extra blankets and quilts.

Grant enjoys dog-walks, hiking, tennis, fishing, reading, and working in the shop/yard. CHRISTINE - Mom -. Enjoys reading, exploring Vancouver Island, crafts, being a Homestay Parent, and a Guider. Loves the outdoors, and helping others develop the same love. Ian also loves working with youth in adventure settings.
