When a person with mild to moderate dementia can no longer live safely in his or her own home, Cedarhurst Dementia Care Home provides a safe and secure environment which is welcoming and 'homelike'. To ensure an environment that is beneficial for all of our residents, the following are our admission criteria:. Each resident must be ambulatory, even if a cane or walker is required.

What is Alzheimer's Disease. What is dementia care home. When there is space available, Cedarhurst Dementia Care Home invites individuals to use Cedarhurst's services for respite care. Respite Care individuals will complete the same admission process as long-term residents and the minimum stay recommended is 1 month. Furniture will be provided for individuals requesting respite care. Weekly fees are $1,600 per week.
