Shirleys Twisted Threads: My little Garden
http://shirleystwistedthreads.blogspot.com/2012/02/my-little-garden.html
Agapanthus at the farm. Monday, 20 February 2012. Life has been getting in the way of my blogging lately, so thought I should post something to show that I am still around the traps. With the recent rain my little garden of pots has been thriving, so thought I would show some photos of my herbs and a couple of other things. The mint is thriving I have already shared some of it. I have the first tomatoes and capsicum on the plants. I hope they survive. I did contact the council who told me the tree was so...

Shirleys Twisted Threads: It really must be Spring at last.
http://shirleystwistedthreads.blogspot.com/2010/10/it-really-must-be-spring-at-last.html
Agapanthus at the farm. Monday, 4 October 2010. It really must be Spring at last. The Callistamons, are really beautiful at the moment, and covered in flowers. This has bought back the "red birds".called that because we cant find them in our bird book to discover their name. It was also hard to distinguish them among the red flowers and by the time I would focus the camera on one, it was gone.off to the next blossom. The last couple of days we have noticed that these little :red beaks were back as well&#...

Agapanthus at the farm. Thursday, 30 September 2010. Lucy's Rose - for Sharon - Debut of a New SRE Rose. Some years ago, when I was doing a lot of silk ribbon embroidery, I wanted to make a rose that was different from all that was on offer at the time. I came up with Lucy's Rose. At the time I had ideas of marketing it some day but never did anything about it, and now the time has passed when I want to. Then I discovered Stitchin Fingers,. If you are not already a member, please do join, you will gain s...

Agapanthus at the farm. Thursday, 2 December 2010. Moving to the Palace. Well I know I said in a previous post that I was a bit iffy about the unit, but after seeing what else was on offer in my price range, when I was notified that my application was accepted (even though my son reckons he gave me a bad build up and told the real estate I belted them.liar liar, pants on fire) I decided to take the unit. It is CLEAN! So here is my new CLEAN! Does anyone get the idea I am big on cleanliness and hygiene?

Shirleys Twisted Threads: Tast Week 22 Triple Chain Stitch
http://shirleystwistedthreads.blogspot.com/2010/07/tast-week-22-triple-chain-stitch.html
Agapanthus at the farm. Wednesday, 28 July 2010. Tast Week 22 Triple Chain Stitch. The picture on the left is my first try of this stitch. With the row on the right of the 3, I decided to join the side chains as well. This could be used as a pattern or a filling stitch. Under the first one, but left off one side of the chain and made the side chains fit into the gaps of the previous row. The central space could be filled with ribbon flowers to create a motif. Labels: A Tast Adventure 2010. I wasnt nearly...

http://shirleystwistedthreads.blogspot.com/2011/09/carnival-is-over.html
Agapanthus at the farm. Friday, 23 September 2011. The Carnival is Over. It is the last of the Carnival this weekend when everyone who is involved with exhibits and venues will be packing up. I do hope the groups of people who run the displays have had a very enjoyable week, and also a profitable one for their members. The tulips were just beautiful they are such an elegant flower. Then there were the poppies. The mixed displays were just a riot of colour. Labels: Day to Day. 28 September 2011 at 06:25.
