EXCITING THINGS about today:. 1 Mom and Dad are getting here tonight! 2 We are going to San Antonio this weekend! 3 I just requested off 5 days in the coming 2 months. :) 2 days when Edwin has surgery, 3 days for Easter! 4 I'm coming home for Easter! I'm flying back Wednesday, March 31st in the morning. I'm leaving Monday, April 5th in the morning. A nice loooong weekend. As if the cart werent funny enough! Friday, February 05, 2010 8:36:00 AM.

The above picture is the top part of the kit and involves such goodies as my occluder, horizontal and vertical prisms, and (my personal favorite) an eye patch. And this is the wonderful extraordinary lower layer of my kit and has all of my lenses and my trial frames which I am modeling along with my tie-dye shirt. I must admit that: 1.) I look excellent and 2.) that normally there's no Styrofoam around the trial frames. Two Needles in a Hayestack.

Tuesday, April 10, 2012. I am not very good at doing this more than every 2 months! February was kind of boring.not a whole lot to blog about. But now I can write all about our wonderful trip to Vegas and Easter! In March, my parents, Ben, Gracelyn, and I all went on a vacation to Vegas and the Grand Canyon. Monday, January 17, 2011. We had lots of fun. My camera lens broke :-( So, I had to use my old camera for some of the following pictures. You will be able to tell which ones. Sunday, May 1, 2011. Altoona, I'm back! The past few weeks have been crazy! In one week I found new tenants for our side of our duplex, a new daycare provider, and a new place to live. Ben needs to move to Eau Claire for his job and we thought this might be happening for a little over a year now. For those of you that don't know, I moved down to San Antonio just a couple weeks ago to start optometry school. I moved down here during the best season, summer. Sunday, May 31, 2009. We made it to the Rio Grande Valley! McAllen is a very nice town with lots of palm trees (which I love)! EVERYONE speaks Spanish here, and the radio offers either country or music in Spanish. Definitely a different place, although I think I'm going to like it. It's really neat being this close to the border! I am taking off from the hotel in a few minutes to begin my adventure! In other news, my condolences to Susan Boyle for not winning.
