Thursday, May 20, 2010. Sevilla Hasta la Muerte. There's not much I can say right now. Actually, there's a lot I want to say, but I'd not finish writing in time to catch my plane. Plus, I don't know for sure how I'm feeling yet, so I can't put it in words. It's close to 1am and my time in Spain is coming to a close. Tonight was the goodbye party. Almost everyone from the school came. And for the last time. Yet this victory was not sweet enough to pull me out of the deep depression I've just entered.

We had to make up for having a day off on a Monday (Dia de Andalucia) a few weeks ago. So, I had class on Friday until 9:30 pm. We also had a school-wide test on Friday. Every student had to take it. Sunday, January 17, 2010. Yesterday I went to Chicago with my wonderful mother. We picked up my visa (and ran into Lauren Harrell (fellow Spain traveler) . It took all of 3 seconds. The visa is this cool, shiny thing that they added to the inside of my passport. I wasn't really sure what it would look like. Immediatly after picking it up, we went to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. We were starving! Then, of couse, we shopped. My mom is too good to me. It's really starting to hit me. I'm leaving soon!

I searched my fabric stash, my kitchen and the ironing basket to find a selection of different undyed fabrics. I tried to get both natural and synthetic fabrics, lightweight to heavyweight and woven, non-woven and knit fabrics. Below is a picture of my collection of fabrics.
