(Which is still a mystery to me why the taxi drivers have a hard time understanding us when we say it…because it’s the same in Korean) We arrive at the stadium and wonder around the tents for a while getting stopped a few times with people asking “May I take a picture of/with you? 8220; I don’t know. Friday, April 16, 2010. My mom booked a really nice hotel for us to stay in, which was a nice change from tiny little bunk-bed hostels I usually stay in when traveling. Seoul was great, lots of street shopping and fake purses. We went to three of the best markets in Seoul. Insadong. 8211; many shops with souvenirs and celadon pottery. Namdaemun. 8211; a large outdoor market where you can buy just about anything. Designer purses, wallets, fur coats, jewelry, etc. And lastly, Itawon. Friday, April 9, 2010.

Sunday, February 21, 2010. After about only 3 runs (because we waited so long in the lines) it was time for lunch. They don’t have lodges here with cozy fireplaces, instead they just have a cafeteria that serves lots of kimchi and rice. Luckily there also have a Popeyes there too! So, greasy fried chicken and french fries it was for me. After a few more times down the slopes it was time to head back to the bus and back to Gwangju. Friday, February 5, 2010. Friday, March 12, 2010. I was in one of the skits and had to say my lines in Korean. Yea. All the kids said their lines in English and I had to say mine in Korean. It was a Peter Pan skit and my lines went a little something like this: “Na Peter Pan anneya, Na Peter FAN ee-lagu. Na jome na jau!
