Silas John Bogdanovic was born on March 16, 2010. He was our little miracle baby and we are so happy he joined our family. He loved to crawl (backwards and forwards), stack blocks and destroy his brother’s train track toys. He was a happy, healthy baby with an infectious smile; adored by all who met him. Silas died without explanation. Our family overwhelmingly supports more medical research to help us understand why perfectly healthy babies stop breathing in their sleep. However, we also understand the needs of grieving families. The ability to talk to other grieving mothers and know that somehow you can keep walking after losing a child has helped me tremendously. Celebrate Silas Memorial 5k. Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2018 Celebrate Silas Memorial 5k! We welcomed over 150 participants to Duniway Elementary School to walk/run the route- many in memory of their loved ones. In collaboration with Max Collins of Hallow Studios. Together we raised over $14,000 for The Dougy Center!
