It was the last sermon for the series entitled, "Struggles" and it has been an excellent one making us all aware of the amount of time we spend on our electronics and what the scriptures have to say about our so called "addiction"! We found it a very helpful series! We were hoping to see the stingrays that come in to mate around this time of year. We saw a couple thousand there last year, but today we didn't see any!

Monday, May 18, 2015. Day 38 - Hike at Hetch Hetchy Valley. Ken and I were up at 7 and had a rather relaxing morning. Ken even go to spend about 1 hour reading! Ken and I can't believe we are really here! Driving towards the trailhead! The waterfalls from a distance during our drive! A look towards the reservoir which is 8 miles long and is the largest. Single body of water within the national park. Getting ready to walk "across" the dam! A view of the falls from the dam! Go Chuck, go! And look at him!

Today they are repairing the cabinetry above the drivers seat that is under warranty. Saturday, May 16, 2015. Day 36 - Our 1st Time to See Yosemite National Park! The 4 of us only planned to get together at 10:30 to head to Yosemite National Park and “get a lay of the land”. Ken and I always like to go to the main Visitors Center when we 1. Arrive in a new area and hear the recommendation from the Forest Rangers or the locals. This raven was bold and looking for food! That is the famous rock formation, Half Dome! We are happy to be at Yosemite National Park! These tunnels are beautiful!

We had planned to leave at 8:20, but the 4 of us were exiting the CG by 8:02 - wow, are we good! Thursday, May 14, 2015. Day 34 - California Here We Come! We were up at 5:30 with a "pull out" time of 6:45. But, we were ahead of schedule, for we left our campsites at 6:35. It was a 1.1 mile drive from our sites to the main highway and then 8 miles to get on Interstate 40. We are starting to climb! Now we stay on the level for just a short time! Ken is intense and maybe a little "white knuckled"! Which way should we go? I think towards Los Angeles! Wow, we got up very, very high! And even further down!

Tom and Beckys Adventure. Tuesday, February 17, 2015. It's hard to believe 2 weeks have come to a close with our time on Pine Island. We thoroughly enjoyed the hiking, nature preserves, wildlife and solitude of the island as well as time catching up with family and friends. We enjoyed hikes every morning surrounded by the beauty of nature. An island surrounded by Mangroves. Tom has recently revived his hobby of geocaching.
