Detour [dee-too r, di-toor] A diversion or deviation from one's original route. Destination [des-tuh-ney-shuhn] The place set for the end of a journey, or to which something is sent. Saturday, June 14, 2014. Journal entry to God - May 25, 2014:. A picture of someone walking well. That right there - that has been the goal of this journey, hasn't it? We must let go of the life we've planned so as to get the life that is waiting for us". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Houston, Texas, United States.

Detours and Destinations: January 2014

Detour [dee-too r, di-toor] A diversion or deviation from one's original route. Destination [des-tuh-ney-shuhn] The place set for the end of a journey, or to which something is sent. Tuesday, January 21, 2014. I had a conversation with God this morning and it went something like this:. What if….”. It’s funny, you know. How I want something so badly but am afraid to actually get it. Why is it that I’m afraid of something that I know is good for me? So am I really living my life for Him? Or is it for me?

A Moment for a Mentor | Jordan Hubbard
https://jordanhubbard.wordpress.com/2012/02/01/a-moment-for-a-mentor
Passionate about healthy churches and healthy leaders. Why I’m not watching Game 7. A Humble Request →. A Moment for a Mentor. Charles Siburt is a mentor for me. He has been struggling with an aggressive form of cancer. I want to take some time to share my thoughts about Charles so that you can understand why I thank God for Charles Siburt. The qualities reflected in Charlie’s life give clues to the traits of a mentor. 1 Charles cares for my family. 2 Charles makes me feel special. 3 Charles speaks truth.

My Treasured Nest: December 2011
http://thetreasurednest.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 6, 2011. I went to Hobby Lobby as I always do early in the season to get all of my themed wrapping supplies for Christmas. Call me crazy but sometimes I love the wrapping part more than anything! I filled my basket and then added up in my head what it would all cost. Even at half off I was still going to be spending a chunk of change on paper? And then it hit me.I will wrap all of my gifts with items that I was either going to get rid of or trash! My Treasured Nest: I can't get close enough :)
http://thetreasurednest.blogspot.com/2011/09/i-cant-get-close-enough.html
Wednesday, September 21, 2011. I can't get close enough :). So we let the boys sleep together a couple nights a week as a reward. Last night Landon and I went in to give them one last kiss and this is what we found. Apparently sleeping in beds beside each other wasn't close enough. :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My Treasured Nest: Go Rangers!
http://thetreasurednest.blogspot.com/2011/09/go-rangers.html
Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Last week we took the boys the $1 hotdog night at the Ranger game. We had a blast! Winnie's family was there and we joined up in the kid play area where they boys go play a little baseball of their own! They were in heaven and are asking when we can go back. :) Will, however cried our entire walk back to the car. His cry was more of a desperate plea to play with The Rangers. Oh my is all I have to say. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sweet Friends and Sweet Things!

Friday, May 17, 2013. The Bible references the narrow road that leads to life. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it – Matthew 7:14.
