Sunday, November 2, 2014. One Saturday we were trying to find something fun to do and happened to drive past the splash pad. Katie LOVES water and jumped right in, even though it was freezing! Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Happy 4th of July (2012). For the first time, we went to the Singing Flag for 4th of July. We went with our friends, the Rossi's, and it was so awesome! You have to come super early in the morning (i.e. whistle blows at 6AM) and nail blankets down in the grass. It's pretty crazy. And can you get more American? Stars, Stripes, and some chunky thighs. They light up the flag, and have songs, dancing and basically a HUGE performance. It was a beautiful night! Happy 4th of July (2012).

Tuesday, April 24, 2012. April 2012 - The month of "Work". Charlotte was very appreciative. This month I also finished our family photo wall! Don't mind the large piano keys, I was just waiting on a large print from Costco. One of the most fun activities we did the month was to go on a little overnight camping trip with friends. Camping is a lot of work, but somehow with friends and just an overnight, it was entirely worth it. And when you do it right after Easter, you get to have Peeps in your s'mores!
