I'm going to try to go on a spending fast. And it's gonna be hard, and i'm probably going to relapse. as my salary has increased, so has my "i make money so i can buy whatever i want" mentality. if i want something, i buy it.even if i don't really need it. it's not like i have a ton of debt, but it would be nice to pay my car off this year. So, i'm only going to spend what i have to spend. no eating out, no buying things for my apartment, and no clothes, shoes, or big earrings. View my complete profile.

Off my list today. I met with a financial advisor this afternoon, and it was so informative. it was so helpful to have someone who knows what they are talking about educate me on all the stuff that i have never understood. Two signs that 30 is getting old: 1. it felt good to plan for retirement.a retirement that is probably 30 years away. 2. i declined a spur of the moment birthday trip so that i could save money to put towards my car payments. I turn 30 on march 13, 2011. that's 7 months to accomplish this list. am i being a bit hopeful that i'll do them all? Probably. but a girl can try. Buy a camera. and then actually use it regularly. Keep a plant alive for more than 3 months. Meet with a financial advisor and get my money in order. Go on a zip line. Find a wine i really like. Watch the entire friends series (all 10 seasons). Try a new recipe. Read a book that i should have read in school but didn't. Exercise regularly and eat healthier.
