Center for Balance by Design assembled a collaborative team that includes Tufts University, Colorado School of Mines, and Stanford University to submit a research proposal to the National Science Foundation. This proposal outlines a study that outlines a work plan to observe and record team dynamics to provide a better understanding of how gender balance of project-based engineering teams impacts creativity and cooperation. On September 23, 2003, Center for Balance by Design signed a Cooperation Agreement.
