Pinot Noir bunches developing. The orchard and vineyard are looking great and we are all finished at the block. Tranquil setting at The Packing Shed cafe. The food was fantastic…. We are going to miss this! Thursday-last day of our course-Propagation. Final tidied up irrigation solenoids and area labelling.

The scaling is done with dormant lily bulbs in autumn usually. Separating the bulb from the plant. Lily bulb ready for scaling. Each scale is removed from the bulb and put into a plastic bag full of vermiculite and placed on the heat bed to germinate. This will take six weeks. Blackcurrant ‘Magnus’. Term Two Week Nine.
