02 ZR 77's later life. Bovington Tank Museum's BARV. This BARV number 00 ZR 21 which is still in running condition and housed at Bovington tank museum and can be seen at events held there. The production line at Barnwbow, Leeds where you take a Centurion Gun Tank and turn it into a BARV. The upper section was all armoured plate apart from the breaker boads which was just mild steel. The running gear of the M3 Lee/Grant and the M4 Sherman is the same with only slight variasions between marks. There is also the fact that there was an abundance of M3's over the M4 btu this being the case the Sherman was used as the most common base . The M3 was used by the Australians.
