Phil Ainslie, Ph.D. Phil Ainslie, Ph.D. Nia Lewis, PhD. Nia Lewis is a NSERC-funded post-doctoral research fellow in the ICL. She completed her BSc, MSc and PhD degrees at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. During her PhD she completed a 6 month research project in New Zealand. Her research interests focuses on the mechanisms of sex-related differences in systemic and cerebrovascular function. Nia is an avid skier, dancer and fitness fanatic; she is also allergic to spicy food. Kurt Smith (PhD student).
