It’s been a long time between posts a year and a half! I have plenty of excuses I got married, fell pregnant, and had a baby! Through all of these events I was mentally writing blogs but lost the motivation at the end of long days to put fingers to keyboard. Now that I’m on maternity leave and my son is finally sleeping. After months of practising my brother and his fiancé’s big day arrived, and I am pleased to say that the wedding cake was a success! It was a simple, two tiered chocolate mud cake with dark chocolate ganache and white fondant icing. The roses were real and matched the bride’s bouquet. The finished wedding cake.
