Fortunately, there is a way to block them (at least, for the moment). Tired of web sites that pop up a new page - one that pop-up blockers don't seem to be able to intercept - when you move the cursor in a way that suggests that you're about to leave the site. Its barely ok when the page will go away if you click on the original, still-displayed page. But some of them require you to click on the 'x' to make it go away.
