The.Cerulean.Life: September 2012
http://theceruleanlife.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 9, 2012. Times are changing, that's for sure. As I sit here today and type, the whole Cerulean gang (or at least a good 30 or so) are off on a kayaking adventure at Turkey Run State Park. Every year we try to do something that includes the whole staff whether it be a lake party, cookout, bonfire, etc. Just something that is fun, stress-free, and not related to work! It should be a fantastic day for them- sunny skies and about 70 degrees- perfect! So, while I get a day "to myself" and th...

The.Cerulean.Life: August 2012
http://theceruleanlife.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 30, 2012. A New Way of Life. This past weekend was jam-packed with festivities. So jam-packed, it started out stressful. While I had the day off work, which was great(! Do we want to raise this little dude to be flexible, yes! And I let my anxiety get the best of me. 1 hour out on the open road during "nap time" and all anxiety had escaped. "We got this." Only one stop to eat and the planned 4.5 hour trip turned in to 3.5. That's right, we were early! So, round one was a success! After t...

The.Cerulean.Life: Bruiser
http://theceruleanlife.blogspot.com/2013/03/bruiser.html
Saturday, March 16, 2013. He called you Bruiser; he nicknames everyone and that was quickly yours; he said that he knew you would be tough. When you were a baby, he was quite possibly your favorite; you would cuddle up on his chest and be so content. He was a 6'2" athletic man but as a tiny baby, he would hold you as if you were breakable, so carefully. He quickly taught you to appreciate 50's and 60's rock and roll, you would "dance" for him (and everyone) often. He would gently stroke your forehead.

The.Cerulean.Life: January 2012
http://theceruleanlife.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 16, 2012. This past week has presented another common complaint but it's repetition during this particular week was fairly noteworthy. Here it is.dun, dun, dun. "this fish is too fishy.". I don't know how to respond to that. Friday, January 13, 2012. Or whatever their medium may be? It is harder than it sounds. I am finding that to be a good manager or leader, one must teach. One must show. One must be patient and willing to answer any question that comes their way with detail...We are pl...
