The CFLA offers college prep academics, with students taking primary responsibility for their learning. More than 95 percent of CFLA graduates are expected to ultimately gain acceptance at four-year colleges (some following completion of a two-year college program), consistent with the schools on which CFLA is modeled. CFLA offers seven class periods each day, allowing students additional time in class and flexibility in selecting electives of their choice.

Ms Brewer, assisted by Cortez, Alex, Anya and Friends volunteer Mrs. Lombard, set up a table at the recent scouting event to familiarize the thousands of attendees with the character educational opportunities at the Leadership Academy. The CFLA principles, including leadership, courage and integrity are very consistent with the scouting values and the CFLA effort was well received by visitors to our booth.
