Versa Shelties: USDAA trial
http://versashelties.blogspot.com/2009/06/usdaa-trial.html
Monday, June 22, 2009. I took her to the vet that afternoon and he told me that she had significant deterioration of the discs in the lumbar region of the back. He took x-rays and sent me home with drugs and the statement that she wouldn't be able to be active much longer. It crushed me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Here I am running Gyp, the border collie of the bunch. We love agility! ADCh Angel's Olympic Gold. Hiking through red rock country on the way back from USDAA national.

Flying Fluffies: Recipe: Turkey Meatballs
http://flyingfluffies.blogspot.com/2011/06/recipe-turkey-meatballs.html
Adventures in dog training with two white furballs. Wednesday, June 22, 2011. I'm always looking for new options for training treats. Last week, while trying to put some leftover ground turkey to good use, I stumbled upon a winner! These treats are soft, small, not too crumbly (but you can easily break them up into smaller treats), show up well on a dark training room floor, aren't too gross or messy to toss or put into your pocket during class and the dogs absolutely LOVE them! 1 can pureed pumpkin.

Flying Fluffies: May 2011

Adventures in dog training with two white furballs. Tuesday, May 10, 2011. I feel a deep sense of gratitude and amazement when I read about the courage, skill and sacrifice of our nation's armed forces. I'm always especially intrigued when I hear the stories of our canine service members - highly trained, incredibly intelligent and courageous dogs who sniff out roadside bombs, help capture suspects and protect their human team members. Versa Shelties: June 2009
http://versashelties.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 29, 2009. Everyone is up and playing now. They all have cute little personalities so far and I am really looking forward to see how the pups grow up. The play sessions are really short right now, so hard to get pictures but I did get a few. Enjoy. Here is Bode killing the Santa dog. It's not dead yet. Julie really wants something on the other side of the fence. Polo and his favorite toy of the day, the reindeer. Play hard, then crash. Thursday, June 25, 2009. Big girl tired herself out.

Versa Shelties: July 2009
http://versashelties.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 6, 2009. Polo - He is very pretty, but I can't get a good picture of just his face because he is almost too big to hold with one hand and he squirms when he thinks he can get away. little brat. Polo playing with one of the toys I have hanging on the side of the pen. I like to hang things so the puppies get used to looking above their heads and having something above them. It has turned into stimulation to get them to climb, jump, and tug. Julie and Picabo playing with the screaming ball.
