The Choral Guild of Atlanta is Atlanta’s oldest independent chorus. It was founded in 1939 by Haskell Boyter. The Choral Guild served as the performing chorus with the Atlanta Symphony for many years. Following the establishment of the Atlanta Symphony Chorus as a separate ensemble, the Choral Guild was reorganized in 1973 as a fully independent performing ensemble.
