She gave him the good news that early in the morning he would have a liver transplant! On August 19, 2002 Rod received the gift of a new liver, the beginning of a new life. I am happy to report that on August 19, 2012, he will celebrate the 10th anniversary of his transplant and is doing quite well! This Saturday, August 4, 2012, Ridgecrest Outdoors Ministries.

A glimpse at our adventures in the classroom, the kitchen, and love. Monday, November 10, 2014. I get home tonight and am walking through the kitchen in my socks. As I pass the trash can, I notice the floor is a little slick. I'm wearing old socks and did just mop the floor. So, I'm thinking I did a pretty good job of mopping. I may or may not have slid through the kitchen Risky Business. Style a few times. Later, as Stephen and I are making dinner, he tells me to be careful because the floor is slick.

What have I done? On the positive side, I can tell you exactly what time the newspaper carrier comes by and I bought myself the most adorable new rain boots! In my own words.
