Tuesday, December 3, 2013. This is a picture of Zane if you were to try to get him to look left (late September). Two weeks ago, after battling a cold for five days I took him to the doctor and it turned out he had developed walking pneumonia. He was put on antibiotics and breathing treatments. Two days into the five day dosage he woke up from his morning nap and I thought I saw him look left! I was in disbelief so I grabbed my phone and had to take a picture. Praise the Lord! His voice is really loud!

We had a snow day today! It was quiet - no crazy weather, just steady snow from the morning to afternoon. We hunkered down at home, and ate boiled peanuts from Granny, took long naps, made cookies, and watched a movie. It was a nice break, and we'll be home again tomorrow. We'll be ready to go back to work and school after that :). We had a quick visit to Alabama this weekend to visit family we missed over the holidays. We got almost all of Grandma's family together, and it was a house full!

Birthday donuts to start the day! Greer picked-out a special gift just for Celia (a lunchbox with a puzzle inside). Her favorite gift: extra-large marshmallows. A new doll from Aunt Stacey! Always an incredible cake from Simply Abby Cakes in Asheville. Strawberry icing with sprinkles - Celia's favorite. Celia stopped for a quick song mid-party. The bandaids were a gift from Uncle Jake. This past week has been pretty routine. Greg is deep in a wood-working/knife-making hobby, and spends a lot of his free time in the garage working away. Celia likes to tag-along, and usually sits at a distance watching him. He insist she wears a full-face protector, and she seems content to do so. We finally celebrated Greer's sixth birthday with a real (small) party. We made a craft, watched a movie, and ate pizza and ice cream. Waking up on her birthday to a room full of balloons. Monday, August 31, 2009. Where did the summer go? We spent the fourth of July with our neighbores the Griffin's and the Allred's. These guys have become our Montana family and we are so lucky to have them in our lives. The kids played outside in the water, we had home made slushies, ate way too much delicious food, almost got busted setting off fireworks, and ended the night watching the Harvest Church's firework show. It was a long 7 hours but we won't have to do any cooking for the next two months! We each got 45 meals.
