John, kim, ila, will, ruby lou and piper dawn. Growing up, my mom would braid my hair, almost on a daily basis. when i was young it was 2 braids, and then it turned into 1. I braided ila's hair this morning. she really liked it. it was like braiding silk - she has slippy hair like me. She looked precious and beautiful. The wet clothes at the basement door and the towels laid out to dry is a sweet thing. It's our sign of our chill out summer. We love roo's new, teethy grin! Or she'll have strawberry short...

John, kim, ila, will, ruby lou and piper dawn. Phone photos pt. 2. Uncle mike and aunt carolyn came to stay with us - we had such a fun time. Glow sticks in the bathroom. After the park (cute pictures on daddy's phone) a stop at walgreens for diapers and impromptu balloons. Will's lasted for all of, umm, 5 minutes. A new found interest in tangram puzzles. Me and my girl, getting pool party food. 10:00 wake time the next day for ila - after a fun night with laur's fam. Daddy's softball game last night.

John, kim, ila, will, ruby lou and piper dawn. Scout came to play. Ruby lou went shopping. Ruby lou needed a tow, ila jean was happy to oblige. Ila made this cross for baby gavin to see when he came over. (since easter, it's all about the cross.). Will got a ride from big sis. We actually did the mondo-cart thing in target. highly doubt we'll do it again. Roo likes to snatch undies while i'm folding and adorn herself. The road to the final four - go blue! John, kim, ila, will, ruby lou and piper dawn. Our fireworks show - a tradition the kiddos love. In position, and so very excited! Gav would squint at the pops. In other news - the yfc year end party was complete with an acoustic, sidewalk prophets concert! The girls and i went to my cousin, martha's bridal shower. we're so happy for her, and it was fun to catch up with our family! I can't hardly believe it, but i didn't get a picture with martha. : (. Our biggest littles went off to cousin camp wednesday morning. after a few days of adventure, cousin bonding, tent sleeping and bible learning, we are going to get them this evening!
