Thursday, October 30, 2008. CONGRATS MR. ABELS and ALL PHILLIES FANS! It pains this Mets fan's heart to say CONGRATULATIONS TO THE PHILLIES ON BECOMING WORLD SERIES CHAMPS last night! However, I am happy for my good friend Mr. Abels who is a HUGE fan and hasn't seen his team win since he was 3 years old. His smile was so big today that he could barely fit through a door :-) In the true spirit of friendship, I gave him a little victory gift:.
