Thursday, October 27, 2011. My great friends in Augusta threw me a very unique shower last weekend. The theme was 'Welcome Pumpkin" and completely awesome! Mabye they chose it b/c it was Fall, maybe b/c they noticed I call all their kids pumpkins. not sure - but it was great! Complete with pumpkin 'banners'. Painted pumpkins welcoming 'lil pumpkin and Baby M. And a table full of fall festivus and pumpkin food (pumpkin bread (my fave! Pumpkin cupcakes, pumpkin truffles. YUM! Wanna see him in all his glory?

Little e wasn't too impressed - he basically colored and moved leaves around the table, but I did a few to show him and we got to collect leaves and play outside - so still a win. Most of you have seen the big nursery reveal on FB but since you are good friends and followers I will show you some more details (including some in process shots to show all of Eric's hard work! First - you repaint the khaki into a perfect baby aqua blue (doesn't he look like he is enjoying this painting part? Miss Kevin came and helped too the weekend I went to Ohio for a shower). Great color - but eck! Look at that carpet! And then started adding our new laminate floors.

Monday, July 9, 2012. In the last six months (since I wrote) ALOT has happened. Our baby boy arrived (in great style I might add - my water broke at Christmas Eve service and he arrived Christmas morning via C-section). Took some family walks. Matching baby and daddy hats! We got a lot of great smiles,. Swam in a pool. Went to the beach. And met our cousins (twice! Grammie and Grandpops with their grand-kiddos. Three weeks apart and best buddies! You are taking me where? Daycare - oh no!

Friday, November 16, 2012. Have you ever made a friend in about five minutes that becomes such a good close friend that you can pick up where you left off after a long time - like seven years? After you've both had two new jobs, both gotten married, one had kids and still just one day meet up again and are just as close as you were? Thursday, November 15, 2012. Wednesday, October 30, 2013. End of a Fun Week. I don't think e sat down for one second the whole night. He ate his meatballs pacing in the booth and 'jumping' off his booster seat. He played with straws and flicked rolled up balls of paper. We contained him (barely) but he is really quite the fireball to be taking to a restaurant at all anymore. Sunday, December 15, 2013. So far behind. or weeks 28-30. I am pretty sure I just missed a months of updates. We were at the beach for Thanksgiving week (week 28) and I didn't take a belly picture (don't worry I took a lot of other pictures and will try to do some updates). But I'm sure I gained a lot of weight and it wouldn't have been pretty anyway. OH - but I did get a fun toy before we left for the beach! Very excited about my remote! Still not great 'self-photos' even with the timer but oh well!

Tuesday, December 17, 2013. Thanksgiving with Eric's family is usually really small but this year his sister and her husband came home from CA and we rented a house at the beach. Monday, February 24, 2014. Not Quite 39 Weeks. Well very differently from her brother - our Little Miss decided to come early! I went into labor at 38weeks 6days. So this is a picture right as we left for the hospital and not quite a 39 week photo. The birth story is long and crazy - but not nearly as long and crazy as the AFTER story.
