The pictures are kinda fuzzy since the anemones are in bad locations and the angles I had to use to get the pictures were horrible! I hope you like the pictures and updates! I will be updating soon with my cuttings! Friday, September 24, 2010. I have a...

http://reefaquaculture.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
To the advancement of the aquaculture of reef organisms. Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Oklong time without a post, besides the TED talk. I have been pretty busy with Vet school but I had some fun this past week. We went out on a boat to do some dives in order to fish for lion fish! Now, in the Cayman Islands you have to have a specific license from the Dept. of Environment in order to touch any lion fish in the ocean. Anyways, we ended up getting 49 lbs of lion fish! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Reef Aquaculture: A cool video of my Stichodactyla gigantea feeding!
http://reefaquaculture.blogspot.com/2011/04/cool-video-of-my-stichodactyla-gigantea.html
To the advancement of the aquaculture of reef organisms. Monday, April 18, 2011. A cool video of my Stichodactyla gigantea feeding! This anemone eats the most out of all the anemones that I have. It eats 3-4 pieces of silverside or shrimp every other day or so while the RBTA's I have only will eat 1, maybe 2 pieces. I had to speed up the video so you could see what happens. It is interesting to see and I hope you all enjoy it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Georgetown, Cayman Islands.

To the advancement of the aquaculture of reef organisms. Sunday, November 14, 2010. So, I have been really really busy with school and vet school applications etc so the blog has suffered. So here is a large update! Before I knew that these anemones died I went to the LFS, (Local Fish Store) to get some water. That same day a guy brought in some clones from his tank that he did not want anymore and so I bought 4 of them, all for $10 each! And one of them was just about to split off another clone! My blas...
