Shakespeare and Messina Project. Another exciting project coming up, this time in the city of Messina, Sicily. Well, if you didn’t know already, there is a story circulating regarding Mr. Shakespeare and Messina, and it has been circulating for a couple of years now. Namely, the story goes that the Great Bard was in fact originally called Michelangelo Florio. Bringing Shakespeare to Agropoli! A good year ends and a new year full of hope has begun…. Since launching ourselves in March 2012 Oxford World Theatre has gone from strength to strength.
