December 14, 2012. Sebby sticking out his tongue to show he is not happy that his mommy has to go back to work! When Sebby turned 3 months old, I went back to work. I was sad to leave him, but felt comfortable with his caregivers since he goes to the same school as Ollie. I really didn’t want to go back to work though! Sebby 3 month stats- 12 lbs 15 oz and doing great! Still a pretty good sleeper and still an easy-going, dream baby! Here is some footage of the boys…already great friends =). July 24, 2013.

Hey Da-Da, It’s Mother’s Day! July 24, 2013. He may look more like Daddy, but that is undeniably Mommy’s smile! This was at 10 pm after his birthday party. Still smiling! He’s at the age now when age seems to matter, so he’s already talking about how he’s almost 4. Sometimes he skips 4 all together and says he’ll be 5 soon. We had some friends over for his party, and our neighbors let us borrow their jump castle! Here’s his 3 year interview, followed by photos from the party. 24 lbs ( 5 percentile).

He is 16 lbs, 11 oz, which puts him about in the 5th percentile. Just slightly bigger than Oliver at the same age. Lawn mowing season has begun! Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Easter cookies and other fun rainy day activities. We had a very rainy (but fun! Weekend this past weekend. We had a great play date with our neighbors to make Easter cookies! It was pouring rain all weekend, but it gave us a good opportunity to break out our rain gear. Here are a few pics of us walking over to Liz' house. Maylen and Gage had a great time cutting the dough into fun shapes. They were ready to dive into the sprinkles too, but we had to bake the cookies first :).

Friday, November 30, 2012. November was a month of visiting friends, family, good food, and fun with neighbors. This first shot is Gage's school picture. Thursday, April 25, 2013. The weather has been HOT and it has been COLD but we haven't really had too many breezy ideal Spring days. The day of our photo shoot was one that was COLD! Luckily, the day had warmed up some by the afternoon, so we didn't have to bundle up too much. We had a great time at the photo shoot, and we even got some good pictures! We love this one of Maylen and Gage on the stairs. It doesn't get much cuter than this. This may be our best family picture yet! Wednesday, April 3, 2013.

Monday, December 29, 2014. What a crazy wonderful year! It has been more than a year and a half since we last updated this blog. Quite a lot has happened in that time and I am sad that we did not document it here. We are obviously time constrained at the moment - but somehow we managed to keep up with it when we had twin infants - so I am going to attempt to keep it updated again! Monday, September 17, 2012. Happy Birthday Maylen and Gage! We had a Thing 1/Thing 2 birthday cookout for them in our back yard. It was just a small gathering (while we can still get away with that! Of friends and family, and it was a great time! Oma (Eric's mom) made the MOST DARLING Thing 1 and Thing 2 outfits for Maylen and Gage! Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Christmas Eve started out great with a cookie decorating party hosted by the "big kids" across the street from us. It was such fun, M and G both had a ball - including just eating the toppings! There is no doubt that Santa will love these cookies! The Betzhold family continued the tradition of have Christmas Eve make your own pizzas! It is a yummy and fun tradition! Some present opening on Christmas Eve. Tickle fun on our new lounge mats!

Thursday, January 31, 2013. We had a few folks over for New Years Eve and we didn't get many pictures except these two! It was really nice to be able to put all the children to bed and still hang out with everyone. We had a bonfire and stayed up until close to 2am! That is unheard of these days, even for the ones among us who didn't have a few children in tow. This was the best pic I was able to get of Ollie, Gage, and Maylen. Who could pass up an after Christmas tutu sale! We did alot of this in January!

Saturday, February 23, 2013. We had a good time inside and out! We played in our playroom a bunch and explored a few new playgrounds too! We also started potty training in February! No one tells you that this is the beginning of a process, not an event. It took us a few weeks, and Maylen and Gage are doing awesome! They caught on right from the beginning, and we are on our way to pullup-free life! These glasses were one of our big-big super surprises for going on the potty! Sunday, February 17, 2013.

Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Our Easter weekend was full of great weather and fun events. We started by decorating cupcakes in the front yard. Well, Gage decorated cupcakes and Maylen mostly ate them. Gage ate them too, but he was definitely into putting on all the toppings. Maylen liked to put the toppings on then lick them off.and only lick them off. I don't think she consumed a single speck of cake. Look at that frosting mouth! Maylen on the hunt. Post egg hunt alfresco dinner. All dressed up for Easter.
