http://postcardkat.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
The launch of my new postcard project. Saturday, December 27, 2008. Solothurn, Schweiz Christmas Pup. Seattle/Everett area. Certified ugly. (that's what the back said) but I don't think it's that ugly. Posted by Loft Offcourse. Thursday, December 18, 2008. Ruth, we got your package. Many thanks for the delicious chocolate covered fruit and nuts, they are all gone and I tried to share, but no one wanted to help. Can you believe that? In other news: No postcards lately. Postcards on Demand: Germany vs Finland
http://postcardkat.blogspot.com/2009/02/germany-vs-finland.html
The launch of my new postcard project. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Jen, I'm sorry I offended your sensibilities. I wasn't paying attention. A man was climbing into the ceiling above my desk. And you DO have funny hospitals in Finland, so it was a logical jump to assume that you said "hospital for blind people in Finland" Sorry. Posted by Loft Offcourse. Ok, ok, apology accepted. We do have some fantastic hospitals in my country. Totally understandable. February 20, 2009 at 7:55 AM.

Postcards on Demand: New Postage Rates
http://postcardkat.blogspot.com/2009/02/new-postage-rates.html
The launch of my new postcard project. Wednesday, February 11, 2009. Time to stock up on Forever Stamps- the ones with the liberty bell on them that hold their value even when postage rates change. The price of postage is going up yet again- but still it's a bargain when you really consider this:. What else can I get for 27 cents? Half a load of laundry. 1/8 of a gallon of gas (or about half a trip to school). 1/3 of a soda. 1/2 of a newspaper. You get it. It's still cheap. Read the Article Here. Posted ...

Postcards on Demand: Comments
http://postcardkat.blogspot.com/2009/02/comments.html
The launch of my new postcard project. Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Wow, I didn't even know I was getting comments on this page: I just read them all. I've got it set up like the other page now, so I'll be more in touch. Ruth: the creme eggs came through fine, but the surprise egg did not (schade! Jen: Yes. I think the hotel for the blind is lovely. Why does your country have so many specialty hospitals? Jena: Still waiting for that Ramada Inn Story. Posted by Loft Offcourse. http://postcardkat.blogspot.com/2009/02/ive-been-behind.html
The launch of my new postcard project. Tuesday, February 3, 2009. I got a package from my Mom with all my mail from Idaho yesterday. Here are the cards that came (and some that I've gotten in Miami too):. Wrigley Field, where the Chicago Cubs play. I have no Idea what this is. It's delightful though. It's from the Chalet Staff and apparently there's a story about it.Jen? These Phoenix cards are from the same Postcrossing guy- he couldn't decide which to send, so he sent both. Many Adventures of Sarah: Here comes Fall...
http://travelsofsober.blogspot.com/2011/10/here-comes-fall.html
Many Adventures of Sarah. An American in Deutschland. Sunday, October 2, 2011. October. By far my favorite month. The weather starts to change, the leaves turn an amazing array of colors, not to mention Halloween. So many things to look forward to in the next 31 days. But after that? November, probably my LEAST favorite month, because it signals the transition from decent weather to full-on winter, and if there is one thing I like only in small doses, it is winter. I am interested to see how all of this ...

Many Adventures of Sarah: November 2011
http://travelsofsober.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Many Adventures of Sarah. An American in Deutschland. Sunday, November 27, 2011. Sitting in the library. I have been sitting here at the BSU library for the better part of two hours, trying to string together a series of German words into grammatically correct German sentences, and I fear what is developing is a pathetic attempt by a non-native speaker to look semi-competent in a language that she is not at all competent in. What the hell has happened? And now, back to this horrible essay. I like to judge.

Many Adventures of Sarah: Wir sind Helden rocked my socks right off!
http://travelsofsober.blogspot.com/2011/03/wir-sind-helden-rocked-my-socks-right.html
Many Adventures of Sarah. An American in Deutschland. Monday, March 14, 2011. Wir sind Helden rocked my socks right off! The thing about New Years Resolutions is that, come about February, the enthusiasm and determination you once had to better yourself through hallow goals begins to dwindle, and by March, you are left thinking "eh? Lets talk about tonight's amazing concert! HOO-FUCKING-RAH they were going to be playing in Saarbrücken! Anyway, the concert itself was fantastic! But I could not agree more&...
