Monday, July 20, 2009. For my bridesmaids and house party girls (who are all wonderful, by the way) I made tote bags as part of their gifts. I had a really good time making these because it was a reason to sit down at the sewing machine - which I don't do as much as I would like. To me, the best part of the whole project was going to pick out the fabric. I loved finding fabric I thought went with each girl. And I loved seeing everyone open them up and see their fabric chosen for them. :).

Sunday, May 3, 2009. I have been blessed by wonderful people in my life. Great friends and family who have blessed Jonny and I by showering us with love and presents! I was also given a shower by the greatest sisters in the world, Julie and Kim, and my great mom. This one was mostly filled with family members and close family friends of both Jonny and I. Again, lots of talking and watching me open presents. and again, I felt loved! All my bridesmaids were at this shower, yay I love them!

Things are crazy as always in our life. Hayden started school this year. He is going to TOTS on Tuesdays and Thursdays. His teacher is Mrs. Sarah and she is excellent! He loves going there. He will have his first program in December. I am excited to see what he will do on stage, a little nervous too! Especially for you April!

Sunday, December 5, 2010. Spent 10 hours in a car on Friday and Saturday but it was worth it! Zach and I went to Katy to spend the night with April so we could be there for her 30th birthday! Yup she is old and I am not! She is in her 30s and I am in my 20s! For those who may not know April is my BEST FRIEND! We were college roommates together at UMHB. She is also a twin and we have so much in common, yet we are so different! I think that's what makes our relationship so special! Posted by Benita :).
