Douglass Art Studio: Kruger National Park
http://douglassartstudio.blogspot.com/2010/11/kruger-national-park.html
Wednesday, November 24, 2010. We saw lions, hippos. giraffe, black rhino, zebra, wildebees, buffalo, impala, bushbuck, waterbuck, kudu, eland and steenbuck as well as warthogs rolling in the mud in a dryish water hole. I took some nice photos and hope to paint one or two of them. Here are a few shots of the animals I saw. I also saw lots of bats resting in the shade of the roof over the outside tables at the restaurant at Skukuza and also the biggest snail I have ever seen crossing the road.
