Bain-Blog: Facts Worth Remembering Today
http://bain-blog.blogspot.com/2008/09/facts-worth-remembering-today.html
Thursday, September 11, 2008. Facts Worth Remembering Today. A must read by Jim Vandehei. Co-founder, Politico, and UW Oshkosh alum. Something big has been missing from the general election campaign since its official start a week ago: serious discussion and focus by the candidates on the two wars the United States is waging against the persistent threat of terrorism. The next president will be forced to determine how we deal with the very unforgiving terrain of Pakistan, where many terrorists plot and l...

Bain-Blog: A September Concert at The Leach
http://bain-blog.blogspot.com/2008/08/september-concert-at-leach.html
Monday, August 25, 2008. A September Concert at The Leach. Finally, a concert. At The Leach when UW Oshkosh students are here! I have been consistently disappointed with the lack of programming, especially as it relates to drawing university students to the venue, and into downtown. Hopefully, the new and yet-to-be-decided management of The Leach, will realize the untapped market that exists September-May, i.e. college students. Thank you Reeve Union Board. For making this happen. Links to this post:.

http://bain-blog.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 28, 2006. Today to place a proposed constitutional amendment that would ban recognition of gay marriage and all civil unions (heterosexual and homosexual) on the November ballot. There is already a law on the books that prohibits gay marriage. Now the Legislature wants to prohibit even straight couples from entering into a civil union. This proposal goes too far! Is to be commended for standing up against this attack on civil rights. He understands that a constitution. I hope you will j...
