Jaime's Journey: September 2008
http://jaimesjourney.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 04, 2008. Has anyone bought their tickets to Seattle yet? No, really I was wondering if anyone has any experience with GPS systems for your car? Any thoughts on which one is the best? My dad thinks I can get by with a good ol' paper map, and I think I could too, but I am just a little intimidated by a cross country drive. Also, for those that have had the pleasure, what kinds of things should I plan to do while I am there? What are the hotspots? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my com...

http://jaimesjourney.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 29, 2008. Big News in My Little Life. I will only be a resident of Texas for 6 more weeks, and then it is off to Seattle! I have taken a travel nursing position in a town called Kirkland, WA, about 15 minutes outside of Seattle. I will be driving myself with my 2 kitties in tow. And boy, are they excited! They just don't know it yet! Here are some pics from where I will be in a few weeks! And anyone is welcome to visit! You can see the skyline of Seattle across the lake. Is it a sign.

Jaime's Journey: Onward to DC
http://jaimesjourney.blogspot.com/2009/03/onward-to-dc.html
Sunday, March 22, 2009. I was blessed with good roads and lots of sunshine on my drive from Seattle to DC. My dad navigated me from Texas and me and the kids spent 5 days on the road. I had some good views most of the way and got to see some fun things. It was interesting watching the country transition from West to East. I went a little out of my way to see Mount Rushmore. It was totally worth it. It is just one of those things you have to see in your lifetime! An update. With photos! Jamie M.'s Blog.

http://jaimesjourney.blogspot.com/2009/03/candadian-christmas.html
Sunday, March 22, 2009. Yes, I do realize it's March, but I have been wanting to do this for a while and am finally getting to it! My Grandma visited me for Christmas when I was in Seattle and we drove up to Vancouver to spend our holiday. I got a pretty good deal on a 5 star hotel and boy did we get a white Christmas! If you can ever get a bargain price on a fancy hotel I totally recommend it! It spoiled me forever! Some views from The Lookout. The Steam Clock (and The Lookout in the back). Overall it w...

Sunday, March 22, 2009. Last Days in Seattle. My last days in Seattle were uneventful. I just tried to soak it all and in enjoy it while I could. I definitely miss the views of the mountains and being so close to the water. Gotta love sunsets on the Sound. These are just some pics from the air when I flew back from my trip home. A walk in the clouds, anyone? Boy, it is beautiful. Cute kitties, too. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am a NICU nurse, and I love my job! View my complete profile.

Jaime's Journey: Spring Days
http://jaimesjourney.blogspot.com/2009/04/spring-days.html
Monday, April 27, 2009. It has been nice to actually experience a spring season. In Texas is seems to go from semi-winter to summer. I am glad my dad and step-mom were able to come visit me for a few days while the cherry blossoms were blooming. It was crazy crowded but it was good to play tourist for a few days. The Supreme Court - we actually got to go inside and sit in the room where they hold hearings. It was pretty cool. View from Lee Mansion at Arlington National Cemetery. View my complete profile.
