30 Day Challenge New York. Tuesday, May 17, 2011. I'm singing in the rain.Day 17. It will be raining in New York all week! In other news.here is what I did today:. 40 minutes of vocal warm-up. I feel like my voice is not that great (in general). Feel like I can't sing. Feeling the day 17 slump. But it's all part of the journey. I new this day would come, I just hope it passes and I regain my confidence in myself and my voice. Worked on "Rita's tune" and "A way back to then". Had my second coaching lesson.

30 Day Challenge New York. Friday, May 20, 2011. Ahhh only 10 days left! This morning I got up at 7am. At 8am for: 30 minutes. Worked on waking up my entire voice, Soprano and mix AND Belt). Later in the day Vocalizations. Worked on: "Rita's Tune". Total vocalizations = 1 hour 10 minutes. Went downtown to the Addams Family Musical Audition for the Broadway show. Signed up just before 9am. So enthusiastic at sign-in. I'm vocally warmed up, I could maybe pass as Latina, why not? May 20, 2011 at 8:46 PM.

Saturday, May 14, 2011. I took it easy today. My throat still feels irritated, so I just warmed up to the practice CD. I'm going to stick to the basics this weekend, and not work too much on songs so I can get my voice back to a healthy spot. Chicken salad from Carve- topped with pico de gallo, black bean salsa, corn, and honey mustard. Another Jazz/Funk class with Chio. It wasn't my best performance, but I hung in there. I'm just so tired. :(. Yes, it's alphabetized! This was just one aisle of about 6!
