Sadly my ex partner Beccy passed away suddenly on 29/10/2011 aged just 39 years. We had three kids together - Marvin, Thomas and Jack - during the eight year period that we were together.we didn't part on the best of terms and hardly spoke to each other for the following 11 years. This was outside our house in Abbey Place in Crewe in 1994.probably about a week before the Opglabeek rally.I don't have the scooter anymore but I still have that rear carrier and the flyscreen. If you've had a look at the previous page you will know that I bought this new on the 1st August 1996.I've been to most countries in Europe on it.but luckily enough I've always had other scooters to use in the winter.so it still looks the same as when I bought it.condition that is. No rust at all on the forks.never been touched up (more than I can say for the ex). The fly screen was an important accessory for those long motorway journey's. The registration number was cheap so it had to be done.

16th October 2011 and it's time to give my PX the final wash of the year before covering it up for a few months.I'll be using the T5 over the winter months. 15 years and 40,000 miles and there is still no rust on the forks. I did however have to replace 90% the clutch parts last week.after 40,000 miles of mainly hard motorway miles I had completely destroyed most of the clutch.the clutch cog being the only salvageable part. Excellent overall condition for a 15 year old PX with 40,000 miles on the clock.

I've had to put a new headset top on.although you can't tell from the pictures the paint isn't a very good match.somebody has managed to polish out the paint code under the seat.I've also had a mudguard painted but I don't really want to change it yet.maybe someone out there has the paint code for this colour! Headlamp was also broken so I've replaced it with a more modern Halogen type. Took a chrome fork link cover off.can't find a black one so a grey one will have to do for the time being. Sadly Mog and Whiskers passed away within a couple of months of each other. Mog had suffered with heart and kidney problems for three years.she had been with me since July 1993.she was about six weeks old when she arrived. Whiskers was a stray who I took home with me in 1995.I guessed she was about 12 months old then which would make her about 17 when she sadly passed away from cancer. END OF AN ERA.
