In 1997, Family Nurturing Center moved from Boston City Hospital to Dorchester and became an independent non-profit organization in 1999. Received the William L. Boyan Award from Boston Children's Hospital. For Excellence in Children's Health in 2014. With funding from the Department of Children and Families, opened a Family Resource Center. Now our Family Enrichment Site. Merged with Dorchester CARES.
