Sunday, July 6, 2014. What we eat day 6: we love Temescal. Peaches we got from Brentwood are now getting so soft and sweet! That means I really need to process these before they go bad. Ice cream for lunch! Our new favorite Tara's Organic Ice Cream. Temescal. The sweetness is just right, and they always have interesting flavors. Cream Corn for me, vanilla for daughter. Daddy stole some bites from us. $5.25. The kid was so into street fair (and yoga, of course) we simply missed a chance to eat proper lunch.

Kinda throw together lunch with wheat berries, vegetable soup from last night, spinach and fried egg. Takes about an hour to cook wheat berries, so when I have time I cook them in a batch and store them in the freezer. Peach, arugula and prosciutto pizza. I had posted previously that I had switched off running back and forth between my VFF's and my usual running shoes - a pair of Asics Motion Control shoes with a sole insert. Last weekend, I got to the point where I didn't switch from the VFF to the ASICS at mid run. I did a full run with just the VFF. What happened when I ran with the VFF's?
