Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Day Two Evening - Monuments at Night. We spent a lot of time in the car. Taking selfies kept us happy. We pounded the pavement again starting with dinners at Subway and Chopped. It was a constant fight over who got to sit in or on the front of the stroller. I can't wait to go back when this is all finished. Some sort of vigil was going on here but we never figured out what it was. We asked a couple people, but there was a language barrier. It was crowded! He was being a statue.

Monday, October 22, 2012. I am blessed with a large family. I'm not just talking about my beautiful six children. And, I'm not referencing my brothers and sisters that I have in an abundance. Uncles, aunts, and cousins are aplenty as well! Few things make me smile at six in the morning, but that did. The weather was GORGEOUS. The people were awesome (they're all my relatives, so duh) and the chow was amazing! We started the day with a leaf pile. Rowan LOVES her Uncle Drew. Like, a lot. The tween and teen.

Thursday, June 28, 2012. School was over for the kids on Thursday, I still had to work on Friday. As soon as I was allowed to leave, we hopped in the car and headed to the OBX! The drive was pretty smooth. Everyone had their devices to keep them busy. We counted bridges for the first couple of hours and then realized it was way too big of a commitment. I have always had a live tree and despite the amount of work and mess associated with it, I LOVE IT! It was a muddy afternoon, but no one seemed to mind!
