My brain has a strange soundtrack…. You most likely know me if you're reading this site but for the other 0.001% of visitors here's some info. I (mostly) grew up on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. I moved to Toowoomba for my final year of High School and then to Brisbane to attend. After graduating at QUT I moved to London for 2yrs before moving back to Brisbane. A few years later I got a job at Google and moved to California. I'm currently living in San Francisco with my lovely wife, Tanya.

My brain has a strange soundtrack…. You've Been Framed. You've Been Framed. One of my projects for our trip home was to setup the digital picture frames I bought for the family a while back. The idea was for each household to have an online photo album (eg. Picasa. That supported RSS. The picture frames would be configured to read all the RSS feeds and display a slideshow of everyone's photos. After a bit of research I had settled on the Samsung SPF83V. The frame's woeful RSS support was a much larger so...

Sean and Louise Burford: Peach Picking
http://seanandlouise.blogspot.com/2007/07/peach-picking.html
Sean and Louise Burford. Married on the third day of December in our backyard, Canberra, Australia. Saturday, July 14, 2007. Sean missed out on this activity too! I went peach picking with Dina to a little place called Brentwood. We had soooo much fun and walked away with a bucket of yellow peaches and a bucket of white peaches. All up, we spent $36 on peaches. Not bad. But they tasted heavenly! Mind you, I gave most of mine away as I can't eat all of them by myself! Posted by Sean Burford.

Posted by Sean Burford. Filling up the SUV(s). We spotted some ships, presumably tankers, docked at the Pt. Richmond. For some reason that picture reminds me of mechanical pigs. Sean and Louise Burford: Shadowbrook
http://seanandlouise.blogspot.com/2007/08/shadowbrook.html
Sean and Louise Burford. Married on the third day of December in our backyard, Canberra, Australia. Sunday, August 12, 2007. Dina, my dear friend, has her birthday the day before mine. So my other very good friend, Tonya, decided to shout Dina and myself brunch at Shadowbrook. What more could one ask for? When we got there, we had the option of walking through the lush rain forest like path or take the trolley down! Of course, we took the trolley! Abhi, Dina, Sean and Me standing beside the Soquel Creek.
Sean and Louise Burford: Louise's Birthday Party
http://seanandlouise.blogspot.com/2007/08/louises-birthday-party.html
Sean and Louise Burford. Married on the third day of December in our backyard, Canberra, Australia. Thursday, August 09, 2007. Yep, I turned the big 3-0 on August 10th. And I feel wonderful! To celebrate, I decided to hold a birthday party, something that I haven't done in a long time. It was held at The Nova Studio. And we made tub tea and my favourite, Thai Milk Bath. At the end of the evening, everyone received a little goodie bag for helping me celebrate and for driving up to The Nova Studio.
Sean and Louise Burford: Lavender Picking
http://seanandlouise.blogspot.com/2007/07/lavender-picking.html
Sean and Louise Burford. Married on the third day of December in our backyard, Canberra, Australia. Saturday, July 14, 2007. While Sean was away in Santa Monica, I was invited by Karen to come lavender picking at her friend's place in San Jose. This is the view from the lavender fields. This is Karen, who's very happy with her efforts! I'm planning to use my lavender in a hydrosol - just need to buy the equipment first. (a double-boiler basically). :). Posted by Sean Burford. Sean and Louise Burford. Married on the third day of December in our backyard, Canberra, Australia. Wednesday, May 07, 2008. To celebrate May Day. Somebody bought tulips and left one on each persons desk last Thursday. According to the Wikipedia article, it would have been appropriate for Sean to chase down and kiss whoever left the flower there, but since it had been there for a while no kiss was exchanged. Sean and Louise Burford: Riding the Pendulum Bike

Sean and Louise Burford. Married on the third day of December in our backyard, Canberra, Australia. Sunday, July 29, 2007. Riding the Pendulum Bike. At the Pacific Science Center they have a bike that you can ride around a thin track about 4 metres above a pool. There is a safety net, but if you bail on the far side of the ring they will probably have trouble retrieving the bike since it is self powered. I guess they have a stick or something. See if you can spot where I wave. Posted by Sean Burford.

Proudly designing with SolidWork's OUTSTANDING CAD software! CURRENT BUILD STATUS 7/26/04:. Well, the Move from Hell is finally over. I'm still digging out from under all the boxes, but I've managed to clear one half of the garage so the truck can be backed in, and bots loaded. The driveway in the new house is steep enough that attempting to load or unload a 220 lb fighting robot is just asking to be squashed as it tries to roll right back out. THIS is what robot combat is all about. :). Voluntarily pitc...
