Saturday, February 21, 2015. Children's Museum, Sickness, and Snow. Unfortunately, we've had a stomach bug going around our house this week and Ryder and Sawyer have been the victims. On Wednesday night, Ryder started throwing up at dinner and continued to do so for about 5 hours. Even though it hit him hard it was over fairly quickly and he spent the next day recovering. Friday, May 16, 2014. I can't believe it's almost been two weeks since Sawyer was born. It's amazing how quickly time with a newborn flies. For me, the first couple weeks of a baby's life is so magical and perfect and I really have been just trying to cherish every moment with Sawyer and our family of 5. Saturday, October 18, 2014. Saturday Snapshots - Take Four. Lots of jumping has been happening on the kids new jumpoline (that's what Rilyn calls it and therefore also Ryder calls the trampoline). Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Grandpa and Grandma Visit. Grandpa and Grandma came for a quick visit a couple of weeks ago and we had a great time. Saturday, September 7, 2013. Mountain Weekend (Take One). We spent the last two weekends up in the mountains. It was kind of a lot to get organized and pack everything up two weekends in a row and work in between, but it was very relaxing and wonderful to be up there. Thursday, April 25, 2013. Our Baby Turned One! Grant turned 1 on Friday, April 5th. It really is crazy how quickly a year can pass. Grant is all boy! Friday, September 14, 2012. Payton's First Day of "School". Payton started a Mom's Day Out (MDO) program on Friday mornings. She was so excited to go, we went to the open house a couple of weeks ago and she has been asking almost every day since if we can "go to stool". It was lady bug day and the kids were asked to wear red and or black, turns out we had a perfect shirt for the occasion! I warned her I would be dropping her off and leaving and she couldn't have been more ok with it. The boy can squeal!

Monday, January 27, 2014. We hosted Thanksgiving this year. We had my family (minus Brian in MS and Kels and Josh and Liam who were in NC) and some friends. We had seven kids this year and decided that was enough to warrant a separate kids table. I saw this cute snack idea on Pinterest. Thank goodness for that site, it's so great for someone like me who has no creative vision. My table decor was also Pinterest inspired. Helping" Nana make whip cream. Saturday, February 1, 2014. Payton couldn't wait to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what she wanted for Christmas. Payton asked Santa for a "turn on Hello Kitty toothbrush" and a "light-up ball". Thankfully she is easy to please! Grant was less thrilled as you can tell by the picture. Below is Payton when she was Grant's age so I guess he is right on track. None to report as he doesn't go back to the doctor until 9 months, but he is in 6-12 month, 9 month or 12 month clothing depending on the brand and size 3 diapers. He seems pretty average to me when I see him around other babies his age. He seems to do fine on little sleep during the day, just gets rough if he goes too long before bed without a catnap.
