Samstag, September 26, 2009. I see too many holes. I have run into a problem with my beaded gloves. Eve pattern by Julia Mueller (not available yet); Wollmeise in Jultomte. It's that line of holes running through the diagonal design. They happen when a right-leaning decrease (k2tog) is right next to a left-twisted stitch (ktbl). Other people knitting the design are getting them too, but mine are more noticeable. Diagnosis: The knitting is too stretched becase. My glove is too tight. Roxie by Lisa Grossman.

The cats have dry food available all the time, so in the morning they would go eat it. It was actually a relief, because a cat that is away from the bed cannot continue pummeling its occupants into the most comfortable version of a sleep sack. Then Turbo got old. March Fiber O The Month Club. 2oz 70/30 Fawn Alpaca/Tussah Silk. You can not imagine the softness of this fiber. It makes butter feel grainy. 2oz Tussah Silk. Shiny, subtle, amazing. I think both of these fibers will be spun and knit into a Kata scarf. I am saving them. They will be the first project I spin on my wheel. My little friend says, "yes".

I just took all the loose skins out of the big bag of onions we have in the garage. I boiled the onion skins as directed in 4.5 cups of water (is that a liter?
