Canopy Amphibian Project: Back to finish data collection
http://canopyamphibianproject.blogspot.com/2010/09/back-to-finish-data-collection.html
Monday, September 20, 2010. Back to finish data collection. Many years ago there was a weather station at TBS that provide invaluable data for many researchers and it has been missed greatly. This station will help restore long-term weather data collection at one of the most (if not the most) biologically diverse spots on the planet. I will provide more details in the next few days. Take a look at the video below to get an idea of what it was like along the road from Tena. Bichos de Amazonia, Kenny's Blog.

Canopy Amphibian Project: Yasuni ITT Plan is canceled
http://canopyamphibianproject.blogspot.com/2013/08/yasuni-itt-plan-is-canceled.html
Monday, August 26, 2013. Yasuni ITT Plan is canceled. As this chapter closes, another must begin. In this new chapter, it is my hope that the oil companies will treat this region like an off shore oil platform in terms of safety for the inhabitants, workers and their environment. My greatest hope is that no new roads are constructed, keeping development and colonization to a minimum. Http:/ www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/environment/july-dec13/ecuador 08-16.html. Canopy Amphibian Project: October 2008

Friday, October 31, 2008. View of Dayuma from the Via Auca. We are back in the primary rainforest here at the Tiputini Biodiversity Station (TBS). The forest is like a magnificent dream and the camp has this romantically rustic feel. It is magically enchanting, like I have entered a fairy tale passing thru a secret porthole known as the Rio Tiputini. Our trip to Dayuma on the Via Auca was cut short due to the lack of Aechmea zebrina. Of a healthy forest has caused their extermination. Contamination, ...
