Underwood Family Adoption: February 2008
http://underwoodadoption.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
A Father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families." Psalm 68:5-6a. Friday, February 29, 2008. Home for a Month. What a month it has been! Time has really flown by as we have been adjusting to the new family structure. At times he wears the other 3 of our children out. He has the attention span of a gnat. Our biggest challenge has been getting him to slow down and focus on a task. Posted by Ande and Paula Underwood. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

A Father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families." Psalm 68:5-6a. Friday, January 25, 2008. They did get another flight out of Laguardia, but would have to spend the night in Atlanta. I decided to go and get them so that they could sleep in their own beds. But I just smile, and say "spaceba" (thank you). By the way, I do have a new phone number- 380 678726947. Please continue to pray for my sweet husband and our family. Anderson informed me today that he does not like being the man of the family, and is ready for dad to get back! At least for a few hours! Paula and the kids.

A Father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families." Psalm 68:5-6a. Saturday, December 29, 2007. Yesterday I had an epiphany. I said, "Hey self. Most of the kids at the orphanage are being sent away for the holidays. Why shouldn't Chris be able to stay with us for a few days? Can you believe that one fresh pineapple costs $25 U.S? I am not Donald Trump. We bought canned pineapple ($1.25) and pineapple juice. Until Next Time,. Hear Ye, Hear Ye!

A Father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families." Psalm 68:5-6a. Sunday, January 20, 2008. Not really- I am sure there at least 4 more- ha! The highlight of my day was when he said for the first time ever- "Mom, you help me please? This may seem trivial if you've never adopted an older child, but it is huge. This means he is really beginning to trust and admit that he needs help- difficult for such an independent boy.
