Best Friends Forever: August 2011
http://meetthemaners.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 4, 2011. These pictures are from my mom I think. My 29th birthday (two days before Halloween) and Addy's first birthday - December 1st. These are the few pictures I was able to transfer from my cell to the computer the other day. I'm realizing that my phone took horrible pictures. Maybe what I lost wasn't so valuable after all. But it was still all I had and much better than nothing! Well at least a good 9 months. She was just an infant! These were taken in early May. John and Sharon Beck.

Sunday, January 29, 2012. Silas has discovered his vocal cords and likes to use them, taking a close second in sounds to his older brother Asher (nicknamed Mouth for his active verbal skills). Silas loves to 'talk' while looking you directly in the eye. Makes me wonder what he is thinking. Still waiting to hear on our departure to France. Getting anxious. Sunday, January 22, 2012. The Simple Life: Day Eight- Normandy and Northern France
http://crosbyssimplelife.blogspot.com/2012/07/day-eight-normandy-and-northern-france.html
Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Day Eight- Normandy and Northern France. Here I am in front of the wall of flags of Allies. Dave overlooking Omaha beach where the majority of US troops came onshore - and the majority lost their lives. Through the tree you can see the graves. so many of them! I believe around 6,000 men and women lost their lives that day and on the following few days. Very well maintained, beautiful, and peaceful setting. Almost a reverent feeling abounds. Dave wandering amongst the headstones.

The Simple Life: April 2009
http://crosbyssimplelife.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 17, 2009. Fortunately, we didn't have to move our activity indoors, we made it inside just before the down pour, with all eggs and children in tow. The kids loved the added mystery and challenge of finding eggs outside around the house. Pros: we found several 'obvious' eggs the following morning. Cons- they were wet and muddy. Another negative- no cute pictures due to the lack of light! Will have to make this activity an annual event! Wednesday, April 8, 2009. In her White Dress. I am a sim...

The Simple Life: March 2012
http://crosbyssimplelife.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 4, 2012. Mom of a Teen. Can't believe my oldest is now 13! Sawyer celebrated his birthday, March 1, at K-2 Racing with his dad and then home for some desired Thai food for dinner followed by Mom's homemade (but not pretty) German Chocolate Cake. He is anxiously awaiting his party next weekend! As for me, I can't believe that 13 years have past since giving birth for the first time! Sawyer holds a wonderful standard as our oldest child. We are blessed each day to have him in our lives! Total...
