Martha decided not to go back to work with Alma, but needed Alma to write a letter of recommendation so that Martha could get a job somewhere else. Martha met with Alma and showed her a physician's statement that said Martha needed time off in order to recover from overwork. Today something happened to me that was purely and strictly out of spite and ugliness. My boss dropped my professionalism rating even though I have never had an issue with her, and now my salary is frozen because my rating dropped. Remember all of those high ratings I was getting? 344 out of 4? So why was my overall rating just at 2.88? But you know what? What do you think?
