Friday, 31 October 2014. Added the latches that retain the rounds in the magazines. I still have to make the mounting strips for these two strapped pairs. I also made latches for the ones located just inside the main entrance hatch. You can see the mounting strips already installed on these, they stand off from the surface. Sunday, 30 March 2014. Right, I re-made the inlet manifolds because the first ones weren't up to scratch. The basic shape has been established and roughly sanded and puttied. Once the glue had set I could go back and do some finer shaping, the flanges and carburetors are also pinned in place for now. Very useful web site to make some corrections and bring the kit to a somewhat higher level of detail. Friday, November 26, 2010. I added some more mud, this time the tracks and glacis received a mixture of Vallejo paints, talcum powder and acrylic medium. Somehow I managed to knock of the holder of the right-headlight-plug and the MG-clamp from the turret roof (that part got lost arghh. I spend hours scratching that). Labels: DML M4A1 75mm. Here's a, much overdue, update. Painting is done with Vallejo acrylics, which is a first for me. The figure in its new home. The tank received it's first coat of paint.

Monday, January 31, 2011. With the vehicle done it's time for some ground work. I want to make a piece of road with one or more trees along the side. So I started with some trees. Sunday, February 6, 2011. The past view days I've been working on some trees to dress up the base I'm planning. I made two trees but only one will end up on the base. I spent about 2 or 3 evenings adding dried roots to the first structure (just a couple of twigs glued together) but I could have spent weeks to get a beter result. I discovered that Meng make nuts and bolts for scratchbuilding, I only wish I had found this out earlier, the grey ones are Meng the tan coloured ones are my own heat formed items. Here is the finished compressor head with Meng nuts and bolts added. In my hand to give some idea of the size. I added some copper wire for the pressure hoses that run to the cylinder heads.
