Our Values and Beliefs. Our Values and Beliefs. Personal Carers on duty 24 hours a day. Individualised and specialised nursing/care services are provided to the residents by appropriately qualified/trained staff on a 24 hour basis. The hostel has a full time Registered Nurse on staff and trained Personal Carers on duty 24 hours a day. Allied health professionals such as physiotherapists, podiatrists, speech pathologists and doctors work alongside the facility staff to care for residents.

Our Values and Beliefs. Our Values and Beliefs. A bus service providing regular outings for residents. Charingfield is a modern well maintained facility. The 55 units are divided into four self-contained homes each for ten person along with a supportive home for twelve older Christian Brothers. There are three respite dedicated rooms. Meals are cooked on site every day and are served in the dining room of each house. The menu changes regularly to suit the residents’ requirements.

For some time the Christian Brothers had been discussing possible accommodation options for their older Brothers. The 'Abbeyfield idea' adapted by the joint venture of the Christian Brothers and the Abbeyfield Society has proved very successful. The only adaptations being the establishment of a centralised kitchen and laundry to service the five houses.

Daily fees are regulated by the Commonwealth Government and can vary depending on a number of factors, such as whether you are a pensioner or non-pensioner and your level of assets.
