Also, the other day I talked about high heel shoes that I have been saving for the day when I can wear them because there is no snow on the ground. Tuesday, March 08, 2011. We celebrated Becca's birthday with a party this past Saturday. She had been home for a week and a half with the flu, and was facing piles of makeup homework and the birthday party. Friday morning she broke into hives on her face, arms, and hands. Sunday, September 25, 2011. The Tiki Moon Villas. This was the quiet, serene, and Hawaiian feeling place we stayed in Laie across from the Polynesian Culture Center. We were so lucky that the pictures in the internet photos even come close to how pretty it was! Mom and I took walks on this beach, called "Bikini" beach each day and it was mostly deserted. Sunday, September 05, 2010. We have only touched the surface of all the hikes in Shenandoah National Park! Saturday was a gorgeous day - low humidity and 80 degrees. It felt almost like fall. Garrett had to work, but Rhett and I and the three youngest girls drove up to the Cedar Falls trailhead. Sunday, October 10, 2010. A Little Glimpse of Heaven. So much hate and so much love next to each other in this boy's young life! I guess what I learned from today is reading the papers about acts of hate or about those Muslims out there that we should fear - came right into my backyard today - right into church for all to see and touch and hold, and to realize that I need to love and not turn a blind eye to those things going on around me. My mom and I fulfilled so many of our dream, or "bucket list" items on this trip, starting by going to Hawaii in the first place! Melecia you are a hotty in that little red sports car!
