Our Mission - Charity Defense Council
https://www.charitydefensecouncil.org/our-mission
Our goal is singular and bold: to change the way people think about changing the world. To let them know that low overhead is not the way the world gets changed. That poor executive compensation is not a strategic plan for ending hunger or poverty or curing disease. That inadequate, donated resources are not the path to global transformation. The Charity Defense Council has five functions. We have assembled a top team of leaders and entrepreneurs in the humanitarian sector. Learn more.

Charity Deductions
No one wants to overpay their taxes. We'll help you donate in a smarter way. If you're like most people, it's easier to just donate your stuff. Than it is to sell it. Bag it up, drop it off. Then at tax time, you claim under the $500 limit to avoid another scary IRS form. You may have set yourself up to overpay your taxes by hundreds. 21 million people overpaid their taxes by an average of $438. By just taking standard deductions vs. itemizing them. Two out of three taxpayers walk away from this money!
